Happy new Year, DWArchive fans! Now, listen, we’re very sorry about this, but this isn’t quite the special episode we promised. That’s still coming, but…well, Rhys explains all in this special mini-episode of The Doctor Who Archives. Patrick is away for technical reasons (also explained), so this is a solo show of Rhys discussing the latests Christmas special and also taking us through the Podcast Awards! The Doctor Who Archives 1-5: Christmas

‘Tis the season, faithful listeners! And what a treat we’ve got for you. In this, the fifth episode of The Doctor Who Archives, Rhys and Patrick make an attempt to journey through the history of Doctor Who and pick out some of the best Christmas specials in the show. They have a laugh, they have a joke, Patrick says “marvellous” far too many times, and they’re home in time for turkey. What fun. Enjoy it!

The Doctor Who Archives 1-4: A History

Isn’t it funny how a couple of teenagers can have such a great ability to talk for so long, yet about so little? Yes, it’s our History special, in which Rhys and Patrick take a whimsical journey through Doctor Who’s history, stopping off at Rhys’ Tom Baker impression, Patrick’s moaning about fangirls, and their collective exaltation of Matt Smith. Do enjoy!

The Doctor Who Archives 1-3: The TARDIS

And so, after last week’s technological problems which meant we couldn’t get an episode out, we finally make it to our third episode! In this one, Rhys and Patrick discuss the Doctor’s amazing time machine, The TARDIS! Also: Patrick does his TARDIS noise, Rhys doesn’t, Patrick tries not to insults our listeners, Rhys goes ahead and does it anyway, and they both gush a bit over The Doctor’s Wife.
